Week

A landmark event for strengthening the unity of Russia’s multi-ethnic people and developing international humanitarian cooperation.

The Peoples of Russia International Week is held annually in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 382 of 1 June 2026, which declared 2026 the Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia.

The event lays a long-term foundation for strengthening our country’s multi-ethnic unity, underlining its distinctive civilizational model. Russia today is home to more than 190 peoples and ethnic groups, each preserving its own identity while forming part of a great sovereign state.

The International Week helps to preserve traditions and cultural and historical heritage, and opens the way to direct dialogue between countries that share the same spiritual and moral values.

The events of the International Week are coordinated by the Office of the Security Council of the Russian Federation. The operator is the Roscongress Foundation.

Participants of the International Week "Peoples of Russia" can book hotel rooms in Moscow at special rates.

Limited availability

Please note that we have a limited quota of hotel rooms in Moscow, and priority for booking confirmation will be given to earlier applications. Pricing policies, minimum booking periods, and cancellation terms are set directly by the hotels and cannot be changed.
